Position Title: Firefighter/EMT
Job Type: Full-Time position

Minimum Eligibility Requirements 

  • 21 years of age by date of hire.
  • Ky Basic 1 Certification by start date.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current CPAT card or ability to obtain CPAT card prior to hire date. A CPAT card as certified by the Kentucky Fire Commission at time of hire. The CPAT requirement will be waived for a lateral transfer who is currently employed with or who has previously been employed by a Kentucky Fire Department prior to January 1, 2013, and who has not been out of the fire service for more than one (1) year.
  • Pass pre-employment fit-for-duty physical, drug screening, and police records check.
