The City of Russellville is aware of the potential inclement weather that is approaching our area and we are prepared. Today high winds are expected for our area and we are prepared to respond to clear the streets from downed trees or debris. Saturday our Street Department crew will begin anti-icing operations on our streets. Beginning Sunday into Monday a winter weather system may bring some snow to our area along with very cold temperatures. If we receive snow our crews will work diligently to clear our streets as quick and safe as possible. Temperatures below 20 degrees could slow the de-icing progress considerably, so please be patient with us in the event this happens. In the meantime, we are monitoring the weather closely and will update accordingly. As always, stay safe and warm Russellville.
