This is a city-wide event designed to provide an opportunity to discard unwanted debris that has accumulated on your property over the winter months. Collection crews will begin curbside pick-up beginning May 6th — 31st.
HOW THIS WORKS
Residents should place unwanted items at the curb for collection. Collection for these items will fall under routine brush routes.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED
The City of Russellville will not pick up tires, TVs, and other electronics (such as computers, printers, scanners, tablets, etc.), construction debris, paint and paint thinner, motor oil, and other hazardous waste.
FREE CITY DUMP DAYS
During the Spring Clean-Up event there will be free dump day every Saturday from 7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. (OR UNTIL DUMPSTER IS FULL) during this period, the City will accept items from residents. This will be located at the Russellville Street Department 345 W. Second Street, please bring proof of residency. This opportunity is available only for citizens residing within the City limits of Russellville.

The City of Russellville has a water main break currently affecting customers in portions of the following areas. 431 North, Cablevision Road, Cole Road, Woodhurst, Hickory Hill, Sportsmans Club Lane, Thurston Drive, Highlandlick, Hunters Circle, Robinwood apartments, Forest Park Drive and Shelton Lane. Crews have responded and are urgently trying to locate the break and will repair it as quickly as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.
The City of Russellville is aware of the potential inclement weather that is approaching our area and we are prepared. Today high winds are expected for our area and we are prepared to respond to clear the streets from downed trees or debris. Saturday our Street Department crew will begin anti-icing operations on our streets. Beginning Sunday into Monday a winter weather system may bring some snow to our area along with very cold temperatures. If we receive snow our crews will work diligently to clear our streets as quick and safe as possible. Temperatures below 20 degrees could slow the de-icing progress considerably, so please be patient with us in the event this happens. In the meantime, we are monitoring the weather closely and will update accordingly. As always, stay safe and warm Russellville.
