Pursuant to KRS 132.027, as amended by the Kentucky General Assembly Extraordinary Session of 1979, the City of Russellville will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 4:45 p.m. at City Hall, Russellville, Kentucky to hear comments from the public regarding the proposed 2023 Tax Rates on Real Property.

The City of Russellville proposes to exceed the compensating rate by levying a proposed rate of .255, the same rate as for the 2022 year. If revenues are in excess of the revenue produced in the preceding year, revenues will be spent in the following areas of City government: Administrative, Police, Fire, Streets, Cemeteries, Parks and Recreation and Service Center.

The City of Russellville will be continuing its Mosquito Control program Tuesday 8/22/2023 beginning at dusk. The City of Russellville uses a truck mounted fogger to fog ALL streets within the Russellville City limits.
Beginning Monday July 31, 2023 the bridge on Marston Avenue in the Brookhaven subdivision will be closed for guardrail replacement. Work is anticipated to be completed by Thursday August 3, 2023 weather permitting. Please use an alternate route during this time. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your patience.

Public Meeting Announced for Improvement Project on U.S. 79 in Logan County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (May 15, 2023) – A public meeting has been scheduled to present alternatives for an improvement project for U.S. 79 in Logan County. The meeting will take place Thursday, May 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Russellville High School. The meeting location address is listed at the end of this release.
Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet along with a consultant will be available to share information and answer questions. A survey will be available for attendees to fill out and turn in before leaving the meeting.
